What caused the development of what had become France's largest shantytown? This is the story of 3 days of operations during which about 7,000 people were evacuated to reception centres all over France. The operation may have taken place without any major incidents, but it did nothing to solve the root of the migration issues that France and Europe are experiencing, and that Calais may well rediscover soon.
