Franco-German Youth Office

The Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO) is an international organization that promotes Franco-German cooperation. Since 1963, nearly 9 million young people from France and Germany have taken part in 320,000 exchange programs thanks to the FGYO. The FGYO also provides several digital resources such as Tele-Tandem, Parkur, and Mobidico. Since its creation, the FGYO has supported the development of Educ’ARTE in both France and Germany.

Creative Europe MEDIA Programme

The European programme Creative Europe MEDIA supports the development of the “Educ’ARTE+” project. This project aims to develop tools that enable young people in France and Germany to engage more deeply with European creative documentaries available on Educ’ARTE, thereby strengthening their use of the platform. The main actions include: opening Educ’ARTE’s innovative educational tools to students; Europeanizing the catalogue to increase the proportion of programmes available in native German and English; transcribing 100% of the programmes in French and German and 100% of the English programmes in all three languages; and translating the website interface into German*.

Research and Innovation Network for Audiovisual and Multimedia (RIAM)

RIAM, a partnership between the CNC (French National Centre for Cinema) and Bpifrance, aims to fund research and development programs carried out by companies in the fields of production, processing, distribution, and publishing of images and sound, leading to new innovative goods or services. In this capacity, RIAM has supported the creation and development of Educ’ARTE.

French Ministry of National Education

The Edu-Up scheme supporting the production of digital resources for schools (RNE) supported the creation of Educ’ARTE in 2016.

Île-de-France Region

The Île-de-France Region / Department of Culture supported the creation of Educ’ARTE in 2016.

Institute for Research and Innovation (IRI)

Created in 2006 by the Centre Pompidou, the Institute for Research and Innovation aims to study and support cultural, scientific, and economic transformations linked to the digital era, and to develop new participatory critical tools. The IRI notably developed the RENKAN mind-mapping tool used by Educ’ARTE.

Ernst Klett Verlag

The publishing house Ernst Klett Verlag is one of the most important companies in the education sector in Germany and produces multidisciplinary resources adapted to all school levels for both general and vocational education institutions. It is part of the Klett Group, a leader in the European education market and present in 16 countries worldwide. For several years, it has supported projects promoting media literacy and cultural exchanges with France.
