Herbert Moore leads a gang of criminals through the sheer force of his personality, whilst his friend Burley Butts relies on brute force. Together, they plan to rob Mr Stanhope, a renowned philanthropist whom Moore has been spying on for some time. To carry out their plan, they enlist the help of little Oliver, one of Butts’ reluctant pupils. On a dark night, they set out on their adventure.
