360° Reportage - Danube Delta Pelicans

Description

The Danube delta, this wild wetland twice the size of Luxemburg, is one of the last refuges for pelicans in Europe.

Hunted close to extinction during the Soviet era, the pelican population has recovered in recent years due to environmental protection. But local fishermen are not pleased as they fear that pelicans eat into their fish stocks and affect their livelihoods.
