He decides to embark on a silly but effective scheme to get out and indulge in his favourite pastime: gambling! So he places a puppet in his bed and, in a stroke of genius, transforms it into a blood-soaked corpse, before setting off to join his dangerous companions in debauchery. Discovering the body, the wife calls a detective, Burstup Holmes, and hands him the case.
