At the heart of the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3) in Nice in June 2025, following the first two conferences in New York (2017) and Lisbon (2022), France and Costa Rica are co-organising UNOC3 to address the threats facing the marine environment, such as the effects of climate change, pollution and the overexploitation of marine resources.
